Easy Cleaning Solutions is a chemical manufacturing business. We make household cleaning products - things like washing up liquids, bleaches, disinfectants and sanitisers, so these are products that we all buy every day.

COVID-19 and the lockdown has been a challenge for us, like it has for all businesses, and the demand for our products has grown really significantly.

We have a very young flexible workforce here. We've been able to lay on additional shifts, we've been able to lay on additional hours, and what we've been able to do is basically meet every single customer request that we've had.

COVID-19 has been a game changer in some sense about the way consumers view our products and clearly we've got a role to play in ensuring that we provide products that really support that whole new demand.
We started to work with Close Brothers around seven months ago and they were really accommodating. They're great people - I think for us that's important. We're a privately owned business so relationships are really important.
As a result of the facility that Close Brothers provided, we've been able to expand the product range faster.

The business now has a more exciting opportunity where we can really thrive within the marketplace. We are at a time now where the business can really push onto the next level. It's a long slow grow to get to world-class manufacturing but we're on our way.

I'm most proud when I see our products on shelves and you see consumers coming and picking that product from the shelf because, ultimately that's what we're about, we're about producing products that consumers really like.
